I admire ancient arts and crafts with great respect. However, some of them deserve to be translated to a contemporary language to create the same effect as they did when they were conceived. Thus I propose a modern way to picture an ancient tale of our culture. Artist have been inspired by the beauty of women, eagerly working on their perfect representation over centuries. I have been entrained to do so, too. Today, I want to set back in time taking along my vision.

My composing shows Maria Medalen (real name of Mary Magdalene) in two depictions: above, in a way we would understand her to be nowadays, an eye- catching redhead passing on the message of her late beloved master, to worship the Sacred Heart. Below, we are looking at a classic scene, NOLI ME TANGERE ,“do not touch me”, famous sentence by J.C. when she first spots him after resurrection on Easter Sunday (John – chapter 20: 11-18)

I drove many miles across France to find the ideal stained glass windows to work on. Mixed up with portraits of real persons I finally conclude with a modern view of an antique legend.
